This article applies to the following ScreenBeam products:
ScreenBeam CMS Enterprise now supports the ScreenBeam 750 and 960 receivers, a license is required to use CMS Enterprise to manage these ScreenBeams, no license is required for the ScreenBeam 1000EDU, 1100, or 1100Plus.
There are 4 types of licenses:
Trial - A trial license allows you to test the functionality of CMS Enterprise with up to five receivers (any combination of 750 and 960) for a limited amount of time. During the trial period, all you need is a trial license.
Base - If you decide you want to use CMS Enterprise to manage your ScreenBeams, you must purchase a Base license. Bases licenses come in a variety of sizes. You can only have one base license.
Adder - If you're in-between two sizes of base license and you aren't planning to purchase more ScreenBeam 750 or 960 receivers, you can purchase a smaller Base license and one or more adder licenses so that all you ScreenBeams will be covered.
Renewal - After the initial 1-year subscription period is elapsed, you'll need to purchase a renewal license to continue using CMS Enterprise to manage your ScreenBeam 750 and 960 receivers.
You need to purchase a combination of Base and Adder licenses that meets or exceeds the number of ScreenBeam 750 and 960 receivers that you want to manage, there is no way to specify which ScreenBeams will be managed by a given license if you have more ScreenBeams than available license seats.
