This configuration supports Teams Rooms meeting, wireless touchback, and wireless video conferencing
- Teams Rooms video conferencing
- Teams Rooms whiteboard collaboration using touchscreen
- Teams Rooms with wireless display via ScreenBeam with Ghost inking
- Wireless presentation with Ghost inking and video conferencing with ScreenBeam Conference
Hardware Requirements
- Microsoft Teams Rooms PC or equivalent UC system
- ScreenBeam 1100 Plus version 11.1.12.11 (or later)
- ScreenBeam USB Pro Switch x's 2
- All-in-one USB video bar
- Touchscreen monitor
Wiring Diagram
Note: 2 ScreenBeam Pro USB Switches are required for this configuration
Wiring Connection Steps
On the USB Switch
- Connect the USB cable from the touchscreen display to the USB Switch Device 1 port
- Connect the USB cable from the video bar to the USB Switch 2 Device port
- On USB Switch 1, using the provided USB cable, connect:
- Host Input 1 port to the in-room PC
- Host Input 2 port to the USB 2.0 port of the 1100 Plus next to the power supply
- On USB Switch 2, using the provided USB cable, connect:
- Host Input 1 port to the in-room PC
- Host Input 2 port to the USB 3.0 port of the 1100 Plus
On the 1100 Plus
- Connect an HDMI cable from the 1100 Plus HDMI Out port to the HDMI Input of the MTR Controller such as a Logitech Tap
Additional Considerations
- Configure the 1100 Plus HDMI Port Power Management setting to ScreenBeam USB Pro Switch
- This sets the ScreenBeam HDMI Out port to turn off immediately so the MTR screen can be seen on the display
- The ScreenBeam HDMI Out will activate upon a connection attempt from the user
- Consider customizing the MTR background image to include the ScreenBeam receiver name (i.e., room name)
- Wired presentation can be supported if by adding an HDMI cable to the 1100 Plus HDMI In port
